Research and ideate concepts that expand the O2 Arena experience, integrating technology with live events to engage the audience post-event.
The O2 Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the centre of The O2 entertainment complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London
The outcome of 2 weeks work was three main ideas to include in the O2 Arena App, that improved the experience beyond the 'expected' features (like info on events and artists, buying & manage tickets, etc.)
Synched health data
A new feature that would combine an event timeline with the user's health data (e.g.: heart rate), creating a personalised event history.
Crowd location tech
Using low-power location technology (like iBeacon), and the official new event photos, allow the user to find and tag him/herself in the crowd of a certain event.
Also, each event would have funny generated stats, with a CMS platform to facilitate its creation.
