Based on brand guidelines (typography, brand colours, etc.) create a design language for a real prototype app (working proof of concept). The app allows monitoring and statistical data of home water usage and disturbances.
FlowGem creates home technology to improve the way people monitor and use basic services; the FlowGem Tag is a device that is installed in home pipes to monitor water usage and notify of leaks or disturbances.
The design language used the brand predefined colours and gradients as the base for all screens. Infographics explaining installation we designed as well as iconography for user dialogs/messages.
A graphic device 'water waves' was created not just as an ornament element, but as a dynamic shape that gives users visual feedback of the pipes status (animating from slow and stable to fast and agitated, depending on water leak status).
History screens with both data and dynamic graphs were designed to allow data visualisation in a simple and clear way.
Installation drawings created to guide users.
Water-drop inspired iconography and simple icons.
Dynamic waves device gives user instant visual feedback.
Data visualisation for history of water usage.
